For the best scanning experience, smartphones or tablets must have auto-focus cameras. Cameras with flash is desirable if you have to scan in dimly lit areas.

Location tracking

Location of any equipment can be tracked multiple ways. GPS coordinates can be captured and set for the equipment. Location can be set by using a drop down menu to select previously designated addresses or sites. Barcodes can be scanned representing a room, palette or bin number.

Maintenance management

Record and track equipment maintenance. Track when service is scheduled. Track warranty expiration.

Audit Equipment Location

Smartphone app supports an audit mode. Audit the last known equipment location and automatically reconcile descrepancies. The last audit date is recorded for better equipment management.
