How do I view a list of past inspections on my Android device?

Select 'Manage Data' from the main application screen. The list of previously stored inspections is displayed.

Select 'Manage Data' from the main application screen. Press and hold the inspection of interest. A menu will appear. Select 'Edit this information'. When the next screen appears, Select 'Inspect a Fire Extinguisher'.

How do I view the list of fire extinguishers that have been inspected during a given inspection?

Select 'Manage Data' from the main application screen. Press and hold the inspection of interest. A menu will appear. Select 'Inspected fire extinguishers'. A list of fire extinguishers is displayed showing their location and serial number.

How do I view a previously inspected fire extinguisher?

Select 'Manage Data' from the main application screen. Press and hold the inspection of interest. A menu will appear. Select 'Inspected fire extinguishers'. Press and hold the fire extinguisher of interest. Select 'Edit this entry' when the options appear.

Why do I need to scan the fire extinguishers barcode?

The serial number or other barcoded information is used to track the fire extinguisher. Scanning reads in and stores the number automatically. The first time that the serial number scanned, you should enter the data about the fire extinguisher including size, type, year of manufacture, etc. On subsequent inspections, you need only to scan the serial number and this information is automatically retrieved. This information is useful for tracking what types of service is required during the next annual inspection.

The extinguisher inspection page has 'Basic' and 'Maint' buttons (arrived at via 'Start an Inspection' -> 'Inspect a Fire Extinguisher'). What is this?

The 'Basic' button brings up the screen for a NFPA 10 compliant monthly inspection. The 'Maint' button brings up a screen for maintenance procedures that should be performed by a licensed technician, typically during an annual or multi-year inspection.
